You know what’s getting more complicated? That digital tech stuff. Even at times I don’t know where to start and what info I should listen to, and guess what my job is to stay on top of that stuff!
I remember when marketing was either TV, radio or magazines / newspapers.
Now look there are things all over the computer and phone screen. Digital marketing has really changed how we live for good.
Changing your focus to digital marketing is now the way to go, every one else is doing it, especially your competitors.
Now Insynth has taken four new hires onboard. More building product businesses are turning to us to help them get their online strategy right and help them to grow.
Last week's blog was written about me, so I thought to take the reigns this week and write one for another fellow new hire.
I'm introducing Sandy Bassi today; so carry on reading and find out more about her...
Who is Sandy?
Sandy has always had a keen interest in marketing, she loves the ability to let her ideas flow and be creative to help business achieve their marketing goals.
The sky is not the limit for her as she has helped businesses across the world with their marketing strategies.
Sandy has studied a BA hons in marketing, advertising and public relations at Birmingham City University. She was a marketing mentor for fellow students, supporting them by being on call for when they required assistance and guidance with their studies.
Sandy was also voluntarily working with an in-house marketing agency at BCU called ‘The Link Marketing Agency’.
She helped B2B clients such as; Bullring and Rightcheck to present ideas to solve real-life marketing problems.
Post degree she decided to pursue a CIM (Charted Institute of Marketing) qualification so she could learn a higher level of marketing.
This involved three assignments: marketing strategy, digital strategy and mastering metrics.
Although her CIM is currently near completion she has gained valuable experiences through a couple internships she acquired alongside this qualification.
Her first internship was a social media marketer for a London based company known as ‘Truffle Social’.
This was a two month internship which involved developing creative strategies and digital campaigns for clients. Sandy created content with photography and videography to boost the social media presence of client businesses.
Her second internship was overseas in Vancouver, Canada with the ‘Arts Council Of New Westminster’ as a marketing coordinator.
For two months she created marketing material for event advertisements. Sandy attended and promoted events to add excitement and shareable content as well as creating a marketing strategy plan for future events.
With all this in mind it is evident that Sandy is very well educated and experienced for the digital marketing consultant role at Insynth.
What Does The Digital Marketing Consultant Role Entail?
The digital marketing consultant role entails working with Insynth’s clients. To develop strategies and content for the purpose to expand digital presence and bring in more business for our clients.
The role is very orientated to our clients. It involves having a strong creative flare with the knowledge to help our clients achieve the goals they want for their business.
Why Sandy was drawn to the role?
So why was Sandy drawn to this role?
Mainly the creative aspect, knowing she can express her creative flare in order to help businesses just like in her previous internships.
The idea of unlimited on-the-job training attracted her too.
With a thirst for constant learning, Sandy knew this role will help her learn more about the constantly changing marketing environment, and therefore would benefit her clients.
The aspect of travel also caught her eye.
Understanding that she could also see new parts of the world undiscovered to her, whilst being trained was something she liked the sound of.
For her it was hitting two birds with one stone, both the thirst for constant learning and the love for travelling.
With all that in mind, welcome to the team Sandy!
